I first met Clayton over 6 years ago, when he and his team installed an audio/video system in a new construction, from wiring to finish. They did a great job. Since then, Apex A/V has retrofitted 2 houses for us with an audio/video system. In each situation, Clayton made sure we had exactly the equipment that met our needs and budget, as well as the team did a very thorough installation. What we have continued to value, has been their follow-up service. Whatever the situation they have been quick and thorough to respond with outstanding after install customer service. We recently purchased a house that had a system that Apex installed. To figure out how it worked and upgrade as necessary, I contacted Apex. Absolutely horrible customer service in that I’ve been ignored - multiple calls that end up in a voicemail that no one ever returns, and emails unanswered over the course of a 2-week period. Not ONE return email or phone call. If you value good customer service, I would go elsewhere!

Selected these guys after doing some research about the best A/V installers in Austin. Wasn't disappointed. They did a retrofit of an existing setup and the entire thing went very smoothly. From the initial consultation through completion, they were professional and customer service oriented.

I wanted a big screen experience in my living room without the clutter of lots visible electronics. It was a relatively small scale job but with some logistical challenges--lots of natural light and my wanting to \hide\ the projector in the wall more than 15 feet away from the screen. I had two other companies (both rated highly) come out to bid on the job. One company just had no interest in doing the job and the other said it would be too expensive to give me everything I wanted. Clayton from Apex Audio Video was never discouraged and found several creative ways to wire my home with minimal construction saving lots of money and time. The installation was quick and every person working on the job was personable and knowledgeable. I am really happy with the end result and the service from Clayton, Robert, Paul, and the rest of the Apex crew.
